We are always delighted to hear from anyone who is interested in singing with us, or in just finding out more about the Society. If you have ever thought about devoting one evening a week to making music as part of a big choir, RTWCS could be just the thing for you.

We normally rehearse in St John's Church Hall, Tunbridge Wells, each Monday in school term times between 7:30pm and 9:30pm. We usually arrange two major concerts a year – one each in the Spring and the Autumn, a Christmas concert in December, and a "Summer Sing" concert in June or July. The summer concert is a less formal and generally less challenging programme and represents an ideal opportunity for younger or less experienced singers to enjoy choral singing with us. It is possible to join us just for the Summer Sing, although it is also a good opportunity to welcome new more permanent members.

If you would like information about joining RTWCS (including just coming along for the Summer Concert) or if you have any other query, please complete the application form, and one the committee members will contact you as soon as possible and send you our comprehensive Members Handbook (pdf format). Depending on their level of experience, prospective members may be asked to take a simple, private, voice test which will help us decide which voice part you should sing, and where it would be most appropriate to seat you within your voice section.

Please note that the annual subscription (2011/12) is £90, although a reduced rate is available for members under the age of 25 and, at the discretion of the treasurer, for members who otherwise could not afford to take part. For those who take part in the Summer Sing only, the subscription is £30 (2009/10) - again with a reduced rate for younger members.
